Protecting our youth, strengthening our families
Drug abuse destroys health, families and futures. Guided by faith and compassion, the Office supports community-wide action against drug abuse that reaches young people before addiction takes hold and walks with families who are already affected.
What the programme does
- Awareness and prevention: talks and campaigns in mosques, schools and communities about the dangers of drug abuse and the value of a healthy, purposeful life.
- Family and community support: guidance and counselling for families, and encouragement for those seeking to recover.
- Referral: helping people reach qualified health professionals and treatment services.
- Mentorship: positive role models and skills opportunities for young people.
If you or someone you know needs support, or you would like the programme to visit your school or mosque, send us a message. In an emergency contact your local emergency services.
